Studying the Bible is a process that can be handled in many different ways and all these ways can create a more solid connection between a person and their faith. The 7 free web apps that will be mentioned later can contribute in this effort to forge a greater connection between an individual and God.
The Best Place To Start
The best place to start is usually the beginning. If you have specific Bible stories or passages in mind that you would like to begin with then, by all means, begin there but if not then start at the beginning. The Bible may be put together in a sort of chronological order but this is not the only reason to begin at the beginning. As the Word of God, this text was created to be embraced as a whole so going from start to finish is an excellent way to not skip over any essential parts. After all, every part of the Bible is an essential part.
What To Do
As you go through and read the Bible, you do not want this to be a passive experience. You want to take the words and let them resonate with you. You want to understand what they mean for you and how they apply to your life.
You may even wish to go so far as to study the same passage in several different versions of the Bible to note the similarities and the differences.
