The term “wholesale” has the connotation of a very large orders – that is, orders requiring the vessel to convey. But on the Internet, the word “wholesale” seems to have shrunk. For example, a website that sells pearls can promote itself as a wholesale pearl. But on closer inspection, the minimum amount required to place orders only 100 pearls.
